revamp
Today i woke up. That's always a good way to start the day. I planned to go to work to file and get some overtime pay. I was far too tired for that nonsense. I have to work tonight at 11 pm, so why would i want to hang out there most of my day? When i woke up it was so bright and shiny that i thought, gee, i should try to go out for a jog. I hate jogging, but am determined to like it sooner or later. But i thought, i should sleep some more first. So I slept till noon... got up and promptly felt inspired to tackle the dishes, clean the fridge, the living room, the hall, the bathroom... and now the big project... my bedroom. So here i am being all productive, and the nap mode sets in. Must keep going... must keep going...
no jogging, just cleaning and hopefully the first coat of paint on the walls today. I can't wait :)

if i call this untitled, is that in some wierd way a title?
Oh hello. Do you ever go through a spell where you think to yourself on a frequent basis, "it's amazing i can function as an adult and live on my own because i'm such a scatterbrain". Okay, maybe it's just me.
So it was a good weekend. I worked evening shift (3-11), on Friday we went downtown after work for some dancing! Good times were had by all... I love that band. Got home around 4, bed around 4:30. Up at the crack of dawn (okay, it felt like it), in order to get U2 tickets. Misha saves the day and comes through with the tickets... I didn't have luck on my end, I'm just glad she did. So Saturday was a flurry of excitment. Then work. An unventful shift. Sunday, oh Sunday. It was a great day, so i woke up at a reasonable time. Chatted with Leah on MSN and then went to catch up over breakfast. Later that day, I went to work... again. When i left the house, I had keys. When i went to get back in to the house after work, I had no keys. Hmmm... a mystery indeed. So after rummaging through my backpack several times, and dumping it out, i resigned myself to the fact that there were no house keys in there (they're usually in my coat pocket). So now it's about 11:20 pm and i'm locked out of my house. Leah's light is still on, so i knock on her door and ask if i can sleep on her couch. Leah suggests we should we retrace my steps to see if i dropped them on my travels. so off we go for a walk. Her very chivalrous next door neighbour is outside and gets wind of our adventure. He opts to join us as a knight and shining armour. And they say chivalry is dead. So we walk the very exact route i took to the hospital. I remembered it because i was wearing my new blue suede boots, which haven't been sprayed, so i had to keep them as clean as could be. We get all the way to work, no keys, so we walk all the way back home.
Thankfully, Marti has a spare set of keys, so I had to call her and ask them to bring them in to work with her so I could pick them up the next morning. She does. So now i have no idea what could have happened to my own keys. It's making me mopey, most of all, i liked my keychain (s).
Went to class today, i don't know why I bothered. Walked the same route as yesterday, still no keys. Came home, did house stuff. I hate white paint. I think i'll redecorate. Megan said it's okay, just no pink paint. Those sound like fair terms to me.
Now i just finished a sad movie, which isn't helping my mopey situation. I might attempt to clean my room and then sleep. Or maybe just sleep.

Shameless
5 o'clock shadow, you're cheek grazed mine. I blushed. Dark lights, you'd never know. Your handed rested gently on my shoulder, as i reluctantly placed my hand on your arm. Too close for comfort. Yet, still comfortable. Words exchanged, with a goofy smile... that same smile i've been watching all night. "Yeah, we're superstars", you said sarcastically as you walked away. "You have no idea" I said, and winked.

Winter of Discontent
It's snowing. Another snow storm. Although, it seems lately that every time it snows, we label it a storm. Although, it is awfully windy and blowing snowish out there.
Blockbuster was packed. I walk through their parking lot, and there was cars and people everywhere. I geuss if you're going to be stuck and stranded inside.... you might as well have something to do and the conveinance of abolished late fees. Everyone seems to go to Blockbuster, Student prepare by going to the library. No sense putting off taking out books now... how will we be able to write our papers. Better pick the books up now-- just in case. I did, I know others did.
So the nice thing about another blizzard is that it looks horribly monochromatic outside. And no one notices the contrast of white on white.
I think the blizzard is contributing to my feeling of overpensiveness. Rain and snow. Why do they do that?

Insert clever and witty title here
man, I gots nothing. No creativity left in me at all these days.
So i just finished packing Ipod (mine is pronounced E-pud), up for a trip to the doctors. Poor little Ipod. The good news is, that they mailed me the box on Mar 8, it got here on the 9th. So pending the pickup of the box tomorrow, Little Ipod will be back at Apple Headquarters on Friday morning. Thank you Purolator. I'm acutally impressed with the way Apple makes it easy to send it to them (and for $40 it should be!). They sent out a box, with instructions, and a safe little cut out for Ipod, lots of foam, a prelabled packing slip, precut pieces of tape and a list of step by step instructions including Purolators phone number and what to tell them. I'm optimisitc that Ipod will be back soon. Shiny and new. Here's hoping.

So in other news, I'm working on school, trying to stay afloat, or get afloat. I'm almost there, that's what i keep telling myself.
It's been awfully blustery out there these past few days. I hope that calms down a bit soon. Yesterday they said some of the wind we got was stronger than the hurricane! I might blow away....maybe i'll get caught up in a Tornado and end up in Kansas. "there is no place like home, there's no place like home".... of course, word on the street is you get one pair of fantastic ruby red slippers out of the deal. That couldn't be so bad. I'd also settle for the red shoes i saw, but did not buy in Japan.
